Cozy cabin in prime trout fishing and hunting area in Pocahontas Co, WV. Built in 1902, added onto, and renovated. This one has all the comforts of home. Cabin offers kitchen with antique stove, range and refrigerator, Dining room, 2-3 Bedrooms with 3 dbl beds, very nice furniture, livingroom with two recliners, couch, big screen TV with stand, pellet stove with logs, laundry room with washer and dryer, large bath with shower/tub combo unit, toilet, vanity and linen closet. Additional separate room could be made into third bedroom, currently used for storage. Basement cellar, is nice and dry and has shelves for canning jars and a potato ben. Additional items such as two bedroom TV's and most everything from pots and pans, microwave, towels and bed linens all convey. Outside offers nice yard with room for a garden/with water upright, firepit with chairs, full front covered porch with swing, glider, grill, and rocker for the porch too. Small picnic table under the trees and the yard is fenced, and gated but, needs a fence repair on one section. Garage offers wood/pellet storage area, workshop, and a parking area/storage area for small boat or bikes. Floor is gravel but could easily be concreted. Great place to take friends and family. Within approx 30 minutes to Snowshoe, Cass railroad, Seneca Rocks, Scenic overlooks, and numerous tributaries to trout fish, 5-10 minutes from Buffalo Lake if you like to lake fish, kayak. hike or bike. Prime hunting area with an abundance of wildlife for Turkey, Deer or Bear. |
